| Abstract Chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy has garnered remarkable achievements in the treatment of hematologic malignancies, prompting researchers to explore the application of CAR technology for refractory autoimmune disorders, including systemic lupus erythematosus, neuromyelitis optica, myasthenia gravis, type 1 diabetes, and so on. This article provides an overview of the pathological basis and recent advancements in utilizing CAR-T, chimeric autoantibody receptor T cells (CAAR-T), and CAR-T regulatory cells (CAR-Treg) for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. |
